SAP Business Application Consultant – SAP Solutions & Business Transformation

About the role

We're looking for a SAP Business Application Consultant who can understand business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate functional requirements into effective SAP-based solutions. Depending on the project, consultants may participate in SAP implementations, support, optimization, maintenance, rollouts, migrations, or transformation initiatives.

As this is a general SAP talent pipeline, we're open to professionals with expertise in different SAP modules, solutions, and areas of specialization. We're interested in candidates who combine functional knowledge, business understanding, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze business processes, needs, and functional requirements.
Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP solutions.
Configure, implement, customize, and/or optimize SAP applications according to business needs.
Participate in SAP implementation, support, maintenance, migration, rollout, and transformation projects.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure the correct implementation and integration of SAP solutions.
Participate in functional testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Identify functional incidents, perform root cause analysis, and propose solutions.
Provide functional support and guidance to users and business stakeholders.
Create and maintain functional documentation, specifications, process descriptions, and user manuals.
Participate in meetings and workshops with clients, users, and technical teams.
Support integration initiatives between SAP and other enterprise applications.
Contribute to continuous improvement and SAP application optimization initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and distributed teams.

Requirements

Degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Professional experience as an SAP Consultant, SAP Functional Consultant, SAP Business Application Consultant, or in a similar role.
Experience working with one or more SAP modules, solutions, or applications.
Understanding of business processes and their integration with SAP solutions.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
Experience configuring, implementing, supporting, and/or maintaining SAP solutions.
Ability to prepare functional specifications and technical-functional documentation.
Experience collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
English proficiency sufficient to participate in meetings and collaborate with international teams and/or clients.

Nice to have

Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with SAP Cloud solutions.
Participation in SAP implementation, migration, rollout, or transformation projects.
Knowledge of integrations between SAP and other enterprise systems.
Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
SAP certifications related to the candidate's area of specialization.
Experience working with international clients or distributed teams.
