About the role

We're looking for Full Stack Engineers to join a team building and evolving communication capture systems across iMessage and WhatsApp.

You'll work across the backend and frontend, developing new capabilities, maintaining existing capture systems, and contributing to additional mobile communication capture solutions. The role also involves working with macOS-specific components, making it a strong fit for engineers who enjoy working close to the platform and solving complex technical problems.

You'll collaborate closely with the product team to plan upcoming development while taking ownership of implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support. The team also incorporates AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor into its daily engineering workflow.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support iMessage and WhatsApp capture systems end-to-end.
• Develop new features across backend and frontend components.
• Contribute to the development of additional mobile communication capture systems.
• Build and maintain macOS-specific components.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues across the system.
• Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and plan upcoming development.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to implementation decisions.
• Support production systems and help ensure reliability and stability.
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools as part of the daily development workflow.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Go.
• Solid experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Experience working across backend and frontend components in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate issues independently and follow problems through to resolution.
• Clear and proactive communication, including the ability to raise technical issues and risks early.
• Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools in daily development.
• Ability to collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of assigned areas.

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with macOS development or platform-specific components.
• Experience with mobile development or device-level communication systems.
• Experience working with messaging, communications, or data capture platforms.
• Experience with system-level integrations or platform-specific APIs.
