About the role

We are seeking an experienced ForeScout Security & Network Specialist to manage, optimize, and support ForeScout deployments for our clients while serving as a trusted advisor on broader enterprise network and security architecture. This role sits at the intersection of network operations and cybersecurity, ideal for someone who understands both how traffic moves across an enterprise and how to secure, segment, and monitor every device on it.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ForeScout (eyeSight, eyeControl, eyeSegment, eyeExtend) experience combined with solid IT networking fundamentals such as routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and NAC concepts, and is comfortable working directly with client stakeholders in a consulting or managed-services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and administer ForeScout platforms (CounterACT/eyeSight, eyeControl, eyeSegment, eyeExtend) across client environments
  • Manage device visibility, classification, and policy enforcement to support Network Access Control (NAC) initiatives
  • Design and implement network segmentation strategies using ForeScout eyeSegment in coordination with client network teams
  • Integrate ForeScout with third-party security tools (SIEM, firewalls, EDR/MDR platforms, ITSM systems) via eyeExtend modules and APIs
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, policy enforcement, and device compliance issues across switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls
  • Collaborate with client IT and network teams to map network topology, VLANs, and access policies to ForeScout configurations
  • Monitor ForeScout dashboards and alerts, respond to policy violations, and tune detection rules to reduce false positives
  • Support incident response efforts related to unauthorized or non-compliant device access
  • Produce documentation, runbooks, and client-facing reports summarizing ForeScout health, coverage, and findings
  • Contribute technical input to SOWs, proposals, and scoping discussions for ForeScout and NAC-related engagements
  • Stay current on ForeScout platform updates, NAC industry trends, and evolving network security best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering ForeScout (CounterACT, eyeSight, eyeControl, eyeSegment, or eyeExtend)
  • Strong foundational knowledge of IT networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching, DHCP, DNS, 802.1X, and wireless networking
  • Experience with network segmentation design and policy enforcement in enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco) and how NAC solutions integrate with them
  • Experience integrating ForeScout with SIEM/SOAR or endpoint security tools
  • Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and translate them into ForeScout policy configurations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across both network and security layers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong client-facing presence
  • comfortable leading technical discussions with client IT/security teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
  • Able to work independently while coordinating across distributed, cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, evolving client environments typical of consulting engagements

Nice to have

  • ForeScout certification (e.g., ForeScout Certified Engineer/Administrator)
  • Relevant networking certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
  • Security certifications: Security+, CySA+, or similar
  • Experience working in a managed services/consulting environment supporting multiple clients concurrently
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to regulated industries (e.g., HIPAA, NERC CIP, PCI-DSS) where NAC is a control requirement
  • Scripting/automation experience (Python, REST APIs) for ForeScout policy or reporting automation
