Data Engineer to join exciting international project for global sports marketing organization. Role focused on maintaining and supporting production analytics platform used by multiple users to power business reporting. Ensure platform remains reliable, secure, and operational by maintaining data pipelines, monitoring production systems, resolving incidents, and keeping application stack updated. Part-time (20 hours/week).

At Staffy, we are looking for Data Engineer to join exciting international project for global sports marketing organization. This role focused on maintaining and supporting production analytics platform used by multiple users. Rather than building new features, you'll ensure platform remains reliable, secure, and operational by maintaining data pipelines and monitoring production systems.

Responsabilidades

Maintain and troubleshoot Python-based data ingestion pipelines
Monitor, investigate, and resolve production incidents
Maintain dbt models and Cube semantic layer
Manage monitoring, alerting, and reliability across expanding ecosystem of source APIs
Maintain existing React and Tailwind frontend with dependency updates and security patches
Ensure Firebase Auth flows operate securely
Maintain Stripe billing integrations
Perform QA across platform
Collaborate with client to prioritize operational improvements

Requisitos

5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Platform Maintenance, with a strong focus on supporting production environments and ensuring platform reliability
Strong experience with Python, SQL, dbt, BigQuery, and modern data pipelines, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining data ingestion workflows in production
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), API integrations, and orchestration tools, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly
Experience maintaining React applications, authentication flows (Firebase Auth), and production integrations such as Stripe, with an emphasis on security updates, dependency management, and system stability
Self-driven engineer with strong troubleshooting skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to collaborate directly with clients while prioritizing incidents and ensuring the continuous operation of business-critical platforms.
