Sobre el rol

We're looking for an AI Staff Engineer to join our AI & Data team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who enjoys building AI-powered products while helping clients solve complex technical challenges. You'll work directly with clients, participate in technical discovery sessions, design AI solutions, and contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build AI-powered applications leveraging LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and modern AI frameworks
• Contribute as hands-on engineer within client projects, writing production-quality code while providing technical leadership
• Partner directly with clients to understand business challenges and recommend scalable AI solutions
• Participate in technical discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and solution design
• Support pre-sales initiatives through technical validation, effort estimation, and solution recommendations
• Guide engineering teams through complex technical challenges and architectural decisions
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices

Requisitos

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with a strong background building production-grade backend applications, APIs, and scalable cloud-native solutions using Python
• Proven experience developing AI-powered applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and modern AI frameworks, taking solutions from discovery through production deployment
• Strong expertise working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, combined with experience delivering enterprise-ready AI solutions and collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders, leading technical discovery sessions, defining solution architectures, communicating technical tradeoffs, and supporting pre-sales activities
• Technical leadership combined with a hands-on engineering mindset, strong product thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor teams while driving complex AI initiatives to successful delivery.
